2012 Rochioli Riverblock Chardonnay Price: 600,00 DKK
   In Stock
The 2012 Chardonnay River Block is made from the Old Wente clone as well as Dijon clone 95. It offers up notes of buttered tangerine oil, lemon grass, white peach, an underlying stony character, and a fresh, full-bodied, rich mouthfeel displaying terrific texture and length. This superb Chardonnay should drink well for 6-8 years.

2013 Rochioli River block Chardonnay Price: 600,00 DKK
   In Stock
The 2013 Chardonnay River Block (fashioned from the Old Wente and Dijon clone 95) reveals a distinctive, gravelly, wet pebbly minerality in addition to notes of white currants, quince, unbuttered popcorn and a hint of new oak. Medium to full-bodied and Chablis-like with its minerality and display of unadorned fruit, this beauty can be enjoyed over the next 4-7 years.

2014 Rochioli Riverblock Chardonnay Price: 740,00 DKK
   In Stock
The 2014 Chardonnay Riverblock (which comes from a site near the river, as the name suggests) is made from an old Wente clone. This is quintessential Russian River Chardonnay, with notes of tangerine oil, orange blossom, honeysuckle and lemon rind. It has a light greenish gold color and a full-bodied, beautiful, well-delineated mouthfeel and finish. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.

2010 Rochioli Littlehill Pinot Noir Price: 940,00 DKK
   In Stock
The 2010 Pinot Noir Little Hill is one of the more layered, textured wines in this lineup. Freshly cut flowers, sweet exotic spices, mint, orange peel and black cherries are woven together beautifully in this expressive, seductive Pinot. Layers of fruit build effortlessly towards the dramatic, layered finish. The main clones are Pommard, Rochioli and a Vosne-Romanee suitcase clone. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2020.

2011 Rochioli Littlehill Pinot Noir Price: 940,00 DKK
   In Stock
The 2011 Pinot Noir Little Hill is one of the biggest and richest of these 2011 Rochioli Pinots, largely because of the presence of Burgundy clones. Juicy, expressive and full-bodied, this voluptuous wine is a classic example of Russian River Pinot, the cool vintage notwithstanding. Dark raspberries, cherries, licorice and mint positively explode on the super-ripe, racy finish. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2021.

2012 Rochioli Littlehill Pinot Noir Price: 980,00 DKK

I thought the 2012 Pinot Noir Little Hill was a dead-ringer for a grand cru Richebourg from France. It offers layers and layers of black raspberry and blackberry fruit intermixed with a subtle hint of toast, a full-bodied mouthfeel and a decadent, luxurious finish that goes on and on. It should drink well for 8-10 years.

2013 Rochioli Sweetwater Pinot Noir Price: 840,00 DKK
   In Stock
The seductive, deep ruby-hued 2013 Pinot Noir Sweetwater offers up lots of kirsch, flower and black fruit aromas. Tom Rochioli has brilliantly pulled off the harvest and fermentation as the tannins are wonderfully sweet and well-integrated, and the influence of new oak is delicate. Lush, opulent and already delicious, this wine should drink well for 5-7 years.

2012 Rochioli West Block Pinot Noir Price: 1.100,00 DKK
   In Stock
The 2012 Pinot Noir West Block is the most structured, backward and brooding of these offerings. It possesses tremendous density as well as potential with a very high ceiling in front of it, but it was much more difficult to evaluate. The color is deep, and the wine has a significant sense of weight and richness in the mouth, but the finish is loaded with tannin and extract. Hints of underbrush, wet gravel and black fruits are noticeable, but this wine needs 2-3 years of cellaring. It should easily last more than a decade.

2013 Rochioli West Block Pinot Noir Price: 1.100,00 DKK
   In Stock
Revealing more oak at present than its siblings, the 2013 Pinot Noir West Block offers more earth and spice characteristics as well as a more angular, structured mouthfeel. Not as plush or seductive as the Sweetwater Pinot, it is more masculine and firm, and will require 1-2 years of bottle age once it is in the marketplace. This medium to full-bodied 2013 should age for a decade.

2014 Rochioli West Block Pinot Noir Price: 1.300,00 DKK
   In Stock
The 2014 Pinot Noir West Block again has flowery, floral notes, giving it quite a perfumed personality. Deep ruby/purple, with sweet berry fruit in abundance, a full-bodied mouthfeel and loads of cassis and cherries, this is another big-time winner and a great success, as are all of these Pinot Noirs from Rochioli in 2014.
